Small composition II painting is a real evidence or description of the works of the artist

Franz Marc painted it in 1914 with a cubist style.

Experts date it back during the beginning of first-world war one hence the variety of colours used can be an attribute of the diverse world cultures, heritage and diversity hence showing the need for reconciliation amongst ourselves. It demonstrates the beauty of harmony which can be well depicted in the freedom to watch the beauty and feeling of the natural environment.

Franz Marc is a German painter and printmaker who was born in the year 1880 in Munich. He inherited his artistic talents at a tender age from his father who happened to be a landscape painter.

People know him very well because he dwells mostly on brightly coloured paintings of animals especially horses hence conveying a message on humanity, the love for natural resources around the spiritual world and us.

He initiated a group by the name Der Blaue Reiter that emphasised on the bold colours and abstracted forms in arts. He is famous for several of his paintings like The Yellow Cow, a Portrait of the Artists Mother, two women on the Hillside, Tiger, and Fate of the Animal, The Tower of Blue Horses, and Small Composition II among many others.

The artist worked closely with such great artist like Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko, and Jackson Pollock who were members of the movement he initiated. All this had the same artistic ideologies as Franc Marc. Art lovers date the broken forms painting and the Small Composition Painting II the same year. These show the artist’s interest and love for harmony among humanity, love for colour works and animals.
